Amsterdam Dutch

Here’s a link to a website that streams current hits from the Netherlands.

You can search by genre, listen to livestreams, wholesongs, samples, etc. It’s a great place to find Dutch artists and songs that you like.

Here’s the quick and dirty on how to follow along with the music:

1. Find Dutch Song (see above)
2. Then go to YouTube and find the video
3. Google the song name, followed by the word “lyrics” to get the written text in Dutch.
4. Finally drop it into an online translator like Google Translator and sing along!

Listening to music in this way helps to connect to the language, and is great for pronunciation(even though it doesn’t neccessarily improve your singing)
